We can all agree that Tiramisu is Italy’s most well know dessert, you could say that the name is synonymous with Italy. The main ingredients of tiramisu are mascarpone cheese, eggs, sponge cake and coffee liquid. The most charming part of the cake is the mascarpone cheese, it gives has light fluffy texture to it that pairs so well with the sponge cake.
We put our own twist on the classic tiramisu, instead of using sponge cake, we use a combination of homemade mascarpone cheese and coffee Parmigiano cheesecake. This give the cake a seamless experience, flowing from flavor to flavor. We also use free range eggs where we only use the yoke to enhance the flavor and texture of the cake. An additional benefit of replacing the sponge cake is that our cake is now gluten free, which is perfect if you’re on a non-gluten diet or allergic.
